Tips for Planning for Weddings in The Smoky Mountains

Most people dream of weddings in the Smoky Mountains. It is quite an intriguing experience, and with the history the area has, you should also plan for it. Here are a few top tips on how to plan for it.

Make Plans Early
The national park has some areas where it pre-approves weddings to happen. However, the rules are that only two weddings can be held each day at each of the locations. If you want to grab a chance in any, therefore, try to be an early bird when it comes to planning.

Keep It Simple
The Smoky Mountains are suitable for simple Gatlinburg weddings and will allow just about 25 guests at a time in some places. Also, they allow little to no decorations. To avoid disappointments, it is only advisable that you keep it simple if you want an outdoor wedding or choose from a few of the indoor venues that allow for over 25 guests.

Get the Permits
The national park requires that you to have a wedding permit. However, the permits are easy to obtain with lesser requirements from the Tennessee weddings department. It is also essential that you understand what the licenses allow or disallow you from doing.
